Are you just out of High school? Every student is entitled to get Financial Aid. If your parents do not make enough money and if you don't have a job, you might be qualified for it.
It's how you fill out your Financial aid application. Many times they reject your aid because they don't think you need the money. So you have to be very careful. I would suggest you to take a part time job and then apply to financial aid. You can show your self independent. If if you are staying with your parents, write that you pay rent to them and show that as your expenses. More expenses you show, more money you will get. You have to be full time student to take all of the money. You can not drop out of classes or else they will take the money back. It's free money, use it wisely towards your education.
