Can an INTL student get Financial Aid from Columbia?

Question:Hi.. im from south america, and since i was 8, i wanted to live in NYC... As i know that NYU (my dream univ) is very expensive, i looked at Columbia. I know other Ivies such as Yale, Harvard and Princeton give need-blind (or something) finaid, i wanted to know if it is the same with Columbia...

I reeeeeeeeeeeaallllllllllllllll... want to live - and study - in NYC!!

Also, if you can't get a grant or scholarship you can apply for a student loan. The best type of student loan is a federal government loan. Here's what you need to do to get one:

1) Fill out the FAFSA. This will determine if you are eligible for financial aid. Go here:

2) Once you are eligible for aid, choose a government-based student loan. The best loan to get is a Federal Perkins Loan.
