Oh my god, I wanna apply to Boston University, MassArt, and a bunch of other schools but I need the TOEFL. Unfortunately, I found out that it was required a little late. A tutor of mines in a program I was attending told me the the university or college will not care for the TOEFL if my score on the SATs is high enough. I no longer think this is valid. I checked all of the schools I am interested in and the TOEFL must be taken. The deadlines for the applications of these colleges are generally around early December - March. The only testing date available for the TOEFL is January, should I go for it or is there a way to get out of the TOEFL. I've been living in the U.S. for a little over 10 years, started school here in the 1st grade and I was even learning some English in my native country before I came America.
Will colleges exempt students from the TOEFL under certain conditions?
I can honestly say this sucks.

seriously, do you think you still need TOEFL?? TOEFL is Test of English as a Foreign Language. It's only for non-native english speaking student/international student, which you are definitely not. Just think about your SAT and try to get the best score as you can!
THAT SUCKS BIG TIME, I TOOK IT A FEW YEARS BACK, IT WAS HARD BUT MAN ALL IT TAKE IS SOME STUDYING. I THINK EVERY UNIVERSITY WILL REQUIRE YOU TO TAKE IT.
after reading your post, do you really think you should worry about the toefl?
