Question:I am 23 and for the last couple of years I have just been working and wasting time. I decided if I want to go anywhere I need education. I am concered that I am a little old to just be starting college. What do you guys think?

I'm a 29 year-old junior at the University of Washington, and I'm having more fun than ever! Go now, it wont get any easier with time!
No, you're still young I graduated when I was 30.
You're never too old to go to college. I know, I went to college in my 30s.
if u want to have a good career and future than go to college
u r never to old for anything
follow your dreams and good luck
I left college when I was 22, went back when I was 40, and got my degree.

Never too old.
No, you are not too old. Sounds to me like you are now ready to take college seriously and get a good education. Trust me, you will NOT be the oldest student in the class. Lots of people go back much later in life. Good luck and have a great time!
You are NEVER too old to go to college. There's an old saying that I like to quote to people about this:

"Going back to school is like planting a tree. The best time to do it is 10 years ago. The second-best time is right now."

Go for it! You'll never be sorry.
One is NEVER too old for college. That is what "lifelong learning" means.
you can never be too old to go back to school.the only thing that matters is that you went back and want to do something with your life.:)
Go for it. With the growing popularity of online courses, the median age for college level students is around 30 these days. I know plenty of people in thier 30's and 40's who enrolled in B.A. programs and graduated.
thats ridiculous dan. youre never too old to better yourself by getting an education. just be thankful you still have the motivation to do so - grab hold of it and go for it hun!
no way i went to school with a dude in his 50's many colleges focus working adults. My brother works in a school where the average age is 40. At 31 i'm still gonna back for more schooling
No, you are just fine. Many colleges are populated with people in their mid thirties on up so 23 is most definatly not too old, in fact you are closer to the ages of the young students than the "old heads" that are in their thirties.
are you too old to become something in your life? i dont tihnk so.age is just a number dont let what other people or yourself tel you something you cant do
YES<YES<YES you are way too old you geezer.JUST KIDDING. I run department at a community college and I just enrolled a student (retired banker) searching for another career. He is 68 years old. He will have a wealth of experience to offer his future boss. Everyone who answered is right, you are NEVER too old to learn, most people simply use age as an excuse for continued ignorance.
its good for you to start your education again.
