Answers:
You dont say whether you are a teenager or not, but I am assuming you are. If so, it is still your parents that have to agree to home school you. Depending on the state, there are different requirements. I would start by checking www.hslda.org and click on your state. There are a lot of choices for curriculum out there, check into them carefully before you jump in. I would advise getting into a co op if you can as well. Check at local churches or the library.
Good luck with school and your baby.
well chcek the the library they give you details about those.
Go online and check out the laws in your state pertaining to homeschooling. Sometimes you need to keep a portfolio of work you've done, sometimes you need to keep attendance. I would recomend as far as curriculum goes, to check out your local virtual school.
Stacey,

It sounds to me that you don't want to be homeschooled, but rather, you'd like to find a way to earn your GED or high school diploma while having a baby in tow. Once you are an adult, "homeschooled" is something else. It's called being an auto-didactic and it has nothing to do with degrees or grades or diplomas.

So, assuming that you don't want to know how to educate yourself in general, but rather, how to get a high school diploma after having missed some high school, here's my answer:

Most public school districts have a GED or high school diploma program for adults. You'll have to call the district, or the library, and ask them about "adult education programs for earning a high school diploma". You may also want to check your local community college. If you have an adult school in the area, ask them.

There are also programs online. Be careful; if you use an online program, be sure that it gives accredited diplomas from your state.

But, just so you know, if you want to go to community college, you don't have to have a high school diploma. Once you are 18, you can take CC classes. If you take enough CC classes, you can use those to go to a 4-year college without a high school diploma. You can take an equivalency test instead. Call your local CC if that's what you want to do.

Whether or not you get your high school diploma, one of the most important job and life skills you can learn is how to find information that you need. Asking questions here is one way to do it. But you can easily find this kind of information by making phone calls, searching the internet, or asking local experts like librarians. Becoming resourceful is the best thing you can do to become a true life-learner. And once you do that, you'll see that having a diploma is really not nearly as important as being able to take care of yourself.

Good luck!

Stacy,
If you are in a state that has mandatory attendance until 16, you do not need to be officially home school. You do need an education. Read. Go on line and read and study everything you can. Watch educational programs on TV. Do the GED program that is available on public TV. Write. Practice putting your thoughts into words on paper. Use your dictionary. Learn new words. Use on line to study math using some of the public school web sites.
After you get an education, get the diploma by taking the GED and then enroll in local community college.
Getting an education is easy with all the technology we have available.
look at the library
