How do I find out my GPA?

Question:I am 14 and homeschooled. I am applying for a job and on the application it asks for my GPA. The curiculum I use gives me grades like A,B,C,D,and F....how can I find out my GPA? Any advise would help. Thanks!

Answers:
A=4
B=3
C=2
D=1
F=0

Add up all the individual grades and divide by the number of grades

It should not be tricky unless you get int things like B+ and C- grades..
Did you get all A's then u just give yourself 4.00 or if you take honors a 5.00 or you can use this

a 3.2 Gpa is really good depending on what level you are in if you dont have any honors classes then you did really good cuz the highest you get get then is 4.00 if you do have honors classes then 3.2 is sort of average. Anyway good luck on your job interview remeber shake hands firmly and make eye contact the inteviewer will love it.
Well here's the point system:\
A = 4
B = 3
C = 2
D = 1
F = 0
Add all your grades up (in each subject totally, not each test persay) and divide by the number of subjects you have
GPA stands for "Grade Point Average", and is simply an average of all the grades you've earned. Each individual letter grade corresponds to a specific numeric value. For instance, an "A" equates to a 4, a "B" equates to a 3 and so on.

Simply add up the numeric value of all of your grades and then divide by the total number of grades you earned.

Example: you have 5 A's, 3 B's, and 2 C's for a total of ten letter grades.

(5*4) + (3*3) + (2*2) = 33
33 / 10 = 3.3 GPA
GPA is a conversion from Letters to Grades.
A = 4.0
A- = 3.67
B+ = 3.33
B = 3.0
B- = 2.67
C+ = 2.33
C=2.0
D=1.0

So.
Step 1:
Convert all your grades to those number above
-8th grade Math = A = 4
-US History= B= 3
-BIO Science= B+ = 3.33

Step 2:
Add up all your numbers
4+3+3.33 = 10.33

Step 4:
Add the total number of classes you are calculating. (In our case it is 3 (Math, History, Science) and multiply it by the magic number "4". This is bc if you had ALL A's it would be easy to calculate your GPA... it would always be 4.

3X4= 12.

Step 5:
Take your "Step 2" # (10.33) and DIVIDE by your "Step 4" number (12)

You get 10.33/12 = .86 (think of this as your GPA EXAM SCORE... 86%)

Step 6:
Take "Step 5" number (.86) and multiply it by the MAGIC number "4"

You will get a FINAL GPA of 3.44

Most College students don't even know how to calculate this.

You have separate GPA's for 6-8 grade, High School, College, Post College.

So if you are in 8th grade, you would take ALL your classes you had since 6th grade... that might be like 24 classes, and you must go through all those steps.

If you are in 9th grade (first year of HS) you only take those classes into consideration and NOT your middleschool classes.

Try it out, it is fun.

**** My method is long, but it lets you visual everything*****
GPA is determined by a point scale

A = 4.0
A- = 3.67
B+ = 3.33
B = 3.0
B- = 2.67
C+ = 2.33
C = 2.0
C- = 1.67
D+ = 1.33
D = 1.0
D- = 0.67
F = 0

Just add up the points for each of your grades and divide by the number of grades. That will give you your GPA
Well, you already figured it out so I'll just answer you as to whether 3.2 is good or bad...
Its good, not super stellar, but not bad either. The closer you can get to 4.0 the better of course, but yours is slightly above average.
3.2 is doing really good. Keep up the good work!
