Don't worry I think you'll do great in public school.
I homeschooled my daughter up til 3th grade and private schooled her up til 7th then I enrolled her in a public school. She did just fine, in fact she really seems to like public school the best out of all of them. She told me she like it better better because she was surrounded with many different kinds of people with many different issues. And she is also getting a really good education from this public school.
Now I can't say that about all public schools but if you act yourself I'm sure you'll do just fine.
