How to do this problem? xsquared minus16 equals 6x help please!!?

Question:i am homeschooling for algebra and need refreshed! thanks

Answers:
x^2-16=6x
x^2-6x-16=0
factor x^2-6x-16 to:
[x-8][x+2]=0
therefore x can be either 8 or -2
written properly the answer is

x=[8,-2]
I would recommend the third, and the fifth link.

x^2-16 = 6x
x^2 - 6x = 16
x = 8
