Which of the following is the complement of the inequality y+x<-2?

a) y+x<-2

b)y+x greater than or equal to -2

c)y+x less than or equal to -2

d)y+x>-2

thanks!

**Answers:**

i think it's c

am not sure but it dones't make sense if its (a) or (b) becuase its the same thing this < means 2 is greater that means its (c)

c

Complement of a Set. The elements not contained in a given set.

In other words the answer should include everything that is NOT in the original inequality.

for example if x< 4

the complement would be x is greater than and equal to 4
