(x/x+y) / (x) simplify????

Question:i need help do i need a common denominator?

Answers:
Nope. =) This really just becomes (x/x+y) / (x/1). This is (x/x+y) divided by x, so the x's cancel out and you have 1/(x+y).
(x/x+y) / (x)
= [x / (x+y)] * 1/(x)
= 1 / (x+y)
