Peasant revolts in the middle ages. They were not literate, thus their reasons were never written down and, at the time, nobody cared.
I rather disagree with the above poster's answer, because there are plenty of sources and information about the Soviet treatment of the Germans in WWII.
An example is WW2 where atrocities commited by the Nazis are remembered and still widely reported. What isn't widely reported are the atrocities commited by the Russians aginst German civilians and the mass rape of German women by Russian troops in Eastern Germany
