Any one ever hear about online classes at Penn Foster?

Question:Because I would love more than any thing to be a vet-tech, and they offer online classes, which are really cheap. Should I go for it? I don't know if this is a scam or not... I can use any ones opinion!

I am currently enrolled in Penn Foster and I think it's the best program out there. Penn Foster vet tech is accredited, legit and in good standing with the BBB.

As for getting hands on experience, after semester 2 and 4 you have to put so many hours at a veterinary clinic and the veterinarian fills out forms and information about your performance.

You learn a lot from the school, you have online classes you have to attend and message boards you have read. It is worth in my opinion.

Any more questions just yahoo message me
It is not a scam. You can learn quite a bit, but the big problem is that you will have no hands-on training. I called around a few vet offices, and they said if someone applied with an online degree, as opposed to a person with a "regular" degree, the person with hand-on experience would be considered first. A couple of them told me that with that background they would be willing to train the right person.
