i asked following before and i got many response about my poor english, how should i have asked correctly?

Question:why do some American think that this county is belong to them and they don't treat proper to new immigrant?

Answers:
Sorry to hear man, but discrimination is inevitable if you haen't been adapted to the culture yet. Learn the culture (while staying true to your own culture) and don't have the attitude that Americans only think its their country. That type of attitude will just lead to more discrimination. Wish you well.
People are as*holes You are trying to say that why Americans are bias towards immigrants.

because america doesnt like to much change i think it frightens some people. also it is hard to determine who is your friend and who is your enemy.

your english is fine when your typing , maybe work on punctuation,,read more english its the only way to understand the language whicj is good i deal with a lot of hispanics who dont even bother to learn the language but expect me to understand them or they send in thier children who are learning english in school to translate for them

use your own language instead of english ..!!

:)) i think i might have answered you the first time. cant remember exactly what i said but ill stand by it anyway.

Grammar aside, ummm...this is America, so doesn't it stand to reason that it belongs to Americans? Your question makes no sense.
I try to treat everyone w/ respect--Americans, Immigrants, whatever....

HOWEVER....! I do take issue w/ people who want to live in this country, live off $$ that should be going to the people who fought to make it a 'safe haven', then refuse to speak English (or the version that Americans speak. LOL!)

I was a Navy wife for MANY years. I always felt like, when I was a guest in someone's country---be it for 2 weeks or 2 years!--it was MY responsibility to try & learn as much about the language, customs, culture, religions, etc. as I could so that I could show respect.
I may have butchered Mandarin, Gaelic, Arabic, & Spanish when I was trying to communicate...but I did get a few smiles, along w/ respect from the people who welcomed me to their country, just because I tried...

If I was planning to live in a new country---especially "The Land of Freedom", & looking for "The American Dream", well---I guess I'd try extra hard to respect that country enough to learn the language.

I have NO problem w/ immigrants. But I do have a problem w/ the fact that some states are trying to get a law passed to have Spanish as a required course in school, along w/ English.

I don't think that you are saying it incorrectly. I think people are taking issue with what you are saying. For those who are Americans, this country does belong to us. That isn't just something we think. That is a fact. When we travel to another country, we are visitors there (and sometimes aren't treated very well either.) As far as Americans not treating an immigrant properly, I'm not sure exactly what your experience has been. I am sorry if people have treated you rudely. I know many immigrants in my area, and I embrace their friendship and welcome them to live in this country along with me. I also know they are treated quite rudely by many people. But, just as you do not wish to be judged for what country you came from, rather as an individual, please do not judge all Americans for the way you have been treated by some Americans.

Why do some Americans treat new immigrants poorly, and think this Country belongs to them?
