I have the same problem as you but my problem is, i hate Math. But now, everything's changed. Once you have mastered the basic, you can do almost everything. Trust me, master the basic and you'll be on your way to doing Math. lulu- you CAN do MATH...first assignment- subtract the "S" from more than one math...

You're NOT alone. I've never been good at math myself. Don't worry too much about it. I'm better at languages and music, and you must be good at one thing or two or even more!!! Not being good at math doesn't make you a dumb person.
People minds develope at certain rates. Mathematics is a different type of logic and involves a different mentallity. Just give it time.
The secret to mathematics is repetition.
The more you add, subtract, divide, multiply, graph, factor, et al, the easier and more user-friendly math becomes.
Also, if you buy puzzle books from the store, math may even become fun!
Hang in there; it will come... You're not alone.
I have problems with complicated math too!
Try taking interest in the subject.. either through the subject teacher or through personal commitments to achieve a particular goal.. like say you want to do the best in your year in math.
Try working out math after understanding the concept and keep practising. Math isn't something like social or science where you can just go read and memorize the answers and spill them out, its a subject where you have to put in your effort in and keep practising.
If you have a lot of time .. then take it slowly.. try asking a few people you know (who are good at math) to teach one concept at a time.. if ur a student, then i am sure your parents wont mind spending on math tutions for you.
If you are in need of desparate help, go thru whatever you have done, try to somehow understand what you've done and try to apply it in various places in day-to-day life. in my primary schooling days, same was the case with me. but nothingz impossible. you know what maths needs??? its just the full control over the basics. when you get a tough question, you think of somestrange way to do it. but the size of the qn. is proportional to its simplicity. what all u need to do is just collect each and every info from question, pen it down, see whatz to be found and think of possible ways you can solve it... remember :: the question requires only basic principles and a little brain usage......
hope u take hold of this subject soon....... evrything depends on wat we think at first i used to think like u but not now iam doing my btech now.just think positively if u think u can.try dear
hey, i know EXACTLY how you feel. i was in geometry just this last year. never got one single A in that class. all my grades were D's and F's. i hated my teacher. i don't know if it was the teacher or something. but, i just didn't do well with geometry. don't give up though. math is tough.
