A 1270 on your SAT doesn't sound bad...and your GPA is great, I don't htink you'll have any issues getting into a school of your choice. To improve your SAT score, study! Spend extra time on your reading comprehension.

Take an SAT prep class if you can afford it. If not, buy a book like Kaplan or Princeton Review. Practice makes perfect and you can get your score up with a little work. Some of it is just learning the format of the questions, and some of it is just learning to read carefully, and to use techniques such as circling and underlining key points and operative words. You probably know this, but they do have some free practice questions and an on line course for $70, a reasonable price, considering the stakes. You're already good at studying, so you know you can raise that score! Good luck! Source(s):
