High Schools arn't like colleges in the sense that all credits always transfer. It's not for a degree which may take different amounts of credits...it's for your diploma. I believe all hihg school require the same amount of credits. They may require you to have a certain number of core classes (English, social studies, math, etc.) but it not be something as drastic as causing you to graduate later than you should. You call your old school and have them send over all of your information to your new school. Most school even have it to where you graduate early. So that you don't have to attend the last semester because you've already filled all of the requirements. You may want to look into that if you just want to get out of there.
Yes, you can transfer credits to any school you go to. Check to make sure that the credit requirement is the same though. I tried that and one school required 300 total and the new school required 350, so I was behind. Good Luck.
don't worry you school credits fallow you as long as you inform your previous school of you transfer!
