There are other ways to embark on self exploration, though; ways that don't ask for monetary support. Find out all the options. I don't know anything about Ramtha, or what their requirements are, nor do I need to in order to answer this question; I do know that things in the world are only worth what you think they are worth. To you, it may be worth trying, whereas, someone else may find it to be a ridiculous waste of time.

If you are truly looking for one on one experience I suggest you go down to McLeodganj, India Live with the Buddhist monks and live their life and learn about enlightment from them! Can not think of more hands on personal experience in spirituality
