Affordable Boarding Schools?

Question:I really want to go to a boarding school. I am at the top of my class, going into my freshman year. I have a 4.0 cumulative G.P.A., play sports, everything.
I talked to my parents about it, but they aren't willing to pay very much for me to go away. I live in Bellingham, WA.
Does anyone know of a co-ed boarding school nearby, or pretty much anywhere in the US or Canada that would be affordable.
I don't know why, but I really like uniforms, so it would be cool if the school had a uniform policy as well.
Thanks so much.

The Webb Schools in Claremont, CA cost $42,000 per year, but the average student gets more than $24,000 in financial aid.

St. Paul's School in New Hampshire is $39,000. They award 35 percent of their students financial aid and the average aid award is $28,000.

Phillips Exeter, also in NH is $36,000 plus some additional fees. 39 percent of the student body receives aid (which is all in the form of grants, not loans.) The average grant is $24,000.

Go to www.schools.com (which is the association of boarding schools) to find out more about schools, tuition, and financial aid options.
