At what age do students in the US learn about square roots and prime numbers?

Question:At what age (or grade) are square- and cube-roots and prime numbers typically learned in a regular math curriculum? Thanks!

Answers:
They are introduced in the 5th grade Illinois math curriculum.
im not sure..sorry
anywhere between 12 - 15 I would say
prime numbers i believe for me was 5th grade
square roots probably 8th or freshman year and cube roots i only remember a refrence to, but not much more.
Probably in Pre-Algebra through Algebra

So that's grade 6-8 (12-14).
I think I learned about primes in 4th grade, and square roots in 6th.

But you continue to use them throughout high school.
