Doing book report when referring to a book in the report is it supposed to be underlined, italics, or quotes?

Long pieces of written work (books) should always be underlined OR italicized. In papers or book reports, it looks better italicized. MLA and APA formats both allow either underlining or italicizing. Good luck with your book report.
