How can learning russian help me in my future studies and/or career?

You could work as a translator, become a diplomat, work at an embassy, work for the United Nations, do journalism in Russia, be a correspondent for a TV network or newspaper or magazine and report on Russia, etc.
my mom says, if you learn russian, your possiablitys are endless, you can be a spy, or a tranlator, anyhow either way you make a ton on money and are pretty much set up for life. also Russian can also come in handy for secret codes w/ friends (if they know it 2) you can speck it and say just about anything you want because very few ppl. know how to speck Russian (you'll be special!)
Good Luck!
