For AP World History, do you recommend any prep guide in particular?

I have used Princeton Review for many AP Tests (Biology, History, Chemistry, Spanish, Computer Science, etc.!), because:

They review material with shortened text book like material
They quiz you at the end of chapters to see if you understand
If you don't, they have explanations of the answers
They offer usually 2 full size tests in the back ALONG with answers.
They also offer strategies in the front of the book
IM me at metal_gods216 and i'll give you some pointers...i got a 5 on world history and doubled it with a five in US for the trio AP Gov't this year. :-)
If you want a thorough review you should get Barrons. If you take your time and go through it you are guaranteed a 4 or a 5. If you slack off and need a quick review get Princeton Review. You'll pass at least.
