Fun for exchange students?

Question:what would be something fun for a french exchange student living for a year in NE ohio?

teach them how to cook american food. If they are here for year, why not take them to NY for a weekend or a few days? The Great Lakes might also be fun, etc. Just make sure you introduce them to American culture as much as you can.

Fall things: Going to the apple orchards, cider mill, football games, bonfires
