There is a $1,000 bill, but it is not accessible to the public.

In the past, there were higher denominations: 500, 1000, 5000, 10000, 100000. Still valid as currency, but very rare and worth more as collectors items.
You can get a 2 dollar bill at a bank if you ask for one.
