Can anyone recommend a good beginner saxophone book that also talks about reading music?

Question:I have a new student who is just picking up the saxophone for the first time (11 yr old). He also does not know anything about how to read music or any basic music theory. Is there a good intro resource that covers both topics simultaneously that anyone can recommend?

Answers:
The "Essential Elements 2000" series is designed to take a begining student with no knowledge of the instrument or music notation and teach them how to play. It also comes with an accompaniment CD to help and I believe the newer ones come with DVDs that demonstrate technique
