Any Oregon teachers have advice about elementary education licensure? (I have an Idaho license)?

Question:If you've taught in both another state and Oregon, what were the differences in meeting licensure requirements?

Answers:
I have an Idaho license too, and I've looked into an Oregon license. You can apply for a transitional license, but then you won't meet requirements for highly qualified.

To get a regular license, I've noticed a few differences. I know they require you pass a constitutional law class or something like that, and for my content (I'm secondary), there's an additional Praxis exam.

And plan on being fingerprinted again.
Contact your local TSPC office. You can find out about reciprocity there.
