Can I teach FE art if I have a PGCE secondary art and design?

Question:I start the PGCE secondary in art and design in September, and I was wondering whether this would be valid for teaching post compulsory or would I have to retrain? Just like to keep my options open for the future.

Answers:
Should be fine..plus in teaching these days, there is "Continuing professional development" CPD
Teaching the sixth form is teaching Further Education so of course you are qualified, in fact most FE practitioners are not as qualified as you will be when you finish your P.G.C.E.
