Does anyone have any details of a company called Varley or RI & Varley Ltd., who made radios in UK, 1920/1930'

RI is Radio Instruments Ltd and they were originally based at Hyde Street in London's West End. The company was re-incorporated under the new Companies Legislation in 1937 and currently has a registered office at 40 Purley Way Croydon Surrey, United Kingdom CR9 3BH - they might know what the tie in with Varley is (this is the family name of a group of early telegraph and radio engineers)
