"Curiosity" and "I See" retorts?

Question:Here are two common statements. Are there any good retorts to them?
"Curiosity killed the cat"
"'I see,' said the blind man"

As for curiosity, i think something else brought the cat back, or is it, 'curiosity killed the cat, not the dog'
haha... or am I just going crazy?

"Curiosity killed the cat"

the actual response to this is:

"but satisfaction brought it back again"

"' I see,' said the blind man"

but it fell upon deaf ears.
